What is Reiki?
Reiki is a spiritual healing practice that promotes health in every aspect of ourselves--physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. By restoring the body to balance, Reiki allows the body to heal itself. Reiki often brings significant reduction in stress and relief from everyday aches and pains.
Usually facilitated by a light touch from the practitioner, Reiki requires no specific belief, simply the willingness to be open and present.
Reiki 1: The beginning
In this two day course, you can expect to learn everything you need to start practicing Reiki on your own. You'll also learn simple ways of including and accessing Reiki in your everyday life.

Usui Reiki is based on the original teachings of Master Mikao Usui, founder of the Reiki System of Natural Healing. There will be time and space to share about your experiences in the training, allowing you to begin to process it and make sense of it.

teacher: David Godbey
David started his Reiki journey with John Decker in 2000 in Oswego, NY. Then studied Reiki 2 and Advanced Japanese Healing Techniques with the late Margaret Ann Case in 2005.
David is a graduate of Joanna Crespo's Reiki Master Teacher Training program through the New York Open Center in 2015.
He currently sees clients in private Reiki practice and teaches yoga in NYC.
